Information requested

The form asks for contact and business-context information such as name, business email, company, optional phone, industry, the process to improve, current software, current employee AI use, categories and sensitivity of information involved, general privacy or intellectual-property concerns, preferred deployment, and approximate timeline.

The form instructs users not to include confidential, privileged, regulated, or sensitive information; patient or client records; legal documents; credentials; secrets; or proprietary source content. The initial inquiry is not an approved channel for protected material.

Inquiry delivery and retention

When you submit the form, the information is sent over an encrypted connection to a Starting Matter endpoint running on Cloudflare. The endpoint validates the submission and uses Cloudflare Email Service to send a plain-text conversation brief to the Starting Matter business inbox. Starting Matter does not place form submissions in a website database or use them for advertising.

Inquiry emails are held in Starting Matter's Google Workspace business email account and are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond, evaluate potential work, maintain appropriate business records, or meet legal obligations. Cloudflare and Google process the information as service providers supporting delivery and business email.

Analytics, advertising, and third-party scripts

This website uses no analytics, advertising pixels, marketing trackers, embedded chat service, remote fonts, or third-party browser scripts.

Cookies and browser storage

The site does not set application cookies and does not store form entries in browser local storage or session storage.

Product checkout

When secure checkout is enabled and you choose to purchase a standard system, the selected configuration is sent to a Starting Matter checkout endpoint and you are redirected to Stripe. Stripe collects payment, billing, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Starting Matter receives the transaction and customer information needed to verify payment and fulfill the purchase. A limited order record is stored in Starting Matter's Cloudflare database for payment verification and fulfillment. Card details are handled by Stripe and do not pass through this website's application code.
